Terms of Service

Services

SoFlo WebWorks provides web design, development, SEO, server hosting, security, and related digital services. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each project are defined in individual project proposals or contracts.

Payment Terms

Project payments are typically structured as 50% upfront and 50% upon completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Hosting and ongoing services are billed monthly. Late payments may result in service suspension after 15 days past due.

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you own all custom code, content, and designs created specifically for your project. We retain the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing. Third-party tools, frameworks, and open-source components remain under their respective licenses.

Hosting & Uptime

For managed hosting clients, we target 99.9% uptime. Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated at least 24 hours in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers, DDoS attacks, or force majeure events, though we will work to restore service as quickly as possible.

SMS / Text Messaging Program

By providing your mobile phone number to SoFlo WebWorks through the contact form, by email, or during a project conversation, you agree to receive SMS messages from us related to your inquiry, project, or services. The SoFlo WebWorks SMS program is a one-on-one conversational and customer-care service used to confirm appointments, send project updates, answer client questions, and deliver account notifications. We do not send promotional, marketing, or bulk text messages.

  • Frequency: Message frequency varies based on project activity. Most clients receive only occasional messages.
  • Cost: Standard message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier. SoFlo WebWorks does not charge for messages.
  • HELP: Reply HELP at any time to receive assistance, or contact greg@soflowebworks.com / (954) 884-8892.
  • STOP: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. After replying STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
  • Carriers: Supported carriers include T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Boost, Cricket, Virgin Mobile, and others. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Privacy: Your mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost revenue or data.

Termination

Either party may terminate ongoing services with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, we will provide all project files, credentials, and a transition plan. We do not hold your site or data hostage.
